Position Overview

The Strategic Sales Executive will be an “A Player” bringing a consistent, proven track record of hunting and closing new business within the capital markets, finance, insurance, risk/compliance (RegTech), and healthcare/pharma verticals. The ideal candidate must possess a solid grasp of data analytics technology and can communicate sales in the context of the customer, helping them to understand the business impact of our solution. We are looking for an inquisitive person with a passion for learning; someone who enjoys being part of a team while seeking out challenges. Highly motivated to find prospective sales and to nurture and maintain relationships with potential clients. This position provides the opportunity to join a growing enterprise building a core team of extraordinary individuals.


Salary OTE 50/50 split commensurate with experience; 300-500k OTE very realistic. Uncapped Commission, a “Best-of-Breed” comprehensive benefits plan, and a generous vacation policy.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline of qualified new business prospects across multiple verticals to meet/exceed quota

  • Use a consultative approach to identify and understand opportunities while developing relationships with key stakeholders to set up POC’s that will then be converted to sales

  • Practices a solution/ consultative/ Challenger Sales methodology

  • Handle all facets of the sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, POC’s and contract negotiations

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to up sell, cross sell, and ensure contract renewal

  • Solid familiarity with the industry, including market trends, key players and news

Required Experience and Skills

  • 7+ years of success meeting/exceeding multi million-dollar quotas selling big data analytics/SaaS solutions to Business Unit leaders and IT: proven ability to sell a complex technology solution
  • Successful track record hunting and closing new business with six figure average deals and a multiyear software licensing solution

  • Proven ability to sell high, wide, and deep: Highly accomplished at developing new accounts and building multi-level relationships within client base

  • Experience selling across verticals:  Capital Markets, Finance, Risk, Insurance, and Healthcare

  • A solid grasp of data analytics technology

  • Comfortable doing sales presentations, using webinars, working trade shows

  • Some experience working for a start-up or early stage company a plus
